Wildcat Mountain State Park Bordering the northern edge of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve is beautiful Wildcat Mountain State Park. The park cover over 3,600 acres and includes several miles of the Kickapoo River. The park's canoe landing is a popular take-out and pick-up point starting out from Ontario. Wildcat Mountain offers a nature center, camping and 26 miles of trails, including 15 miles exclusive to horseback riding enthusiasts. In the winter, the park grooms seven miles of trails for cross-country skiing and is home to a popular ice cave. Visitors will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Kickapoo Valley from many points along the mountaintop pathways.
